This Kolibri fountain pen model is a true individualist. It is one of our smallest writing instruments, but its colours are in no way inferior to those of the tiny bird: the stainless steel casing is reminiscent of the iridescent, colourful plumage of various hummingbird species.
Inspired by this play of colours, the Kaweco Liliput Kolibri gets its metallic sheen from a particularly durable PVD coating. This process makes each pen unique thanks to its variable colour distribution.
It is not without reason that we have taken the smallest bird as our model: our Liliput Hummingbird fountain pen weighs just 20 g and measures only 9.7 cm when closed, growing to a size of 12.4 cm with the cap screwed on.
You can personalise your pen by choosing the nib that will fit your personal handwriting the best. There are five different nibs available: extra fine (EF), fine (F), medium (M), broad (B) and extra broad (BB). While the extra fine nib is suitable for small and delicate handwriting, the extra broad nib is often used for large, dramatic signatures.
